Regulatory information.
General information about the Australian regulatory environment for peptide products. This page is not legal advice.
Why product-by-product review matters
The Therapeutic Goods Administration states that many peptide products promoted online are unapproved therapeutic goods, and that advertising unapproved therapeutic goods to the Australian public is generally unlawful. Restrictions can also apply to prescription-only medicines.
The TGA also states that describing a product as “research use only” or “not for human use” does not by itself change whether the product is regulated as a therapeutic good or remove advertising, import, manufacture, export or supply obligations.

ARVEONIX publication approach
ARVEONIX reviews product listings before publication and maintains product-specific catalogue information separately from general educational content. Regulatory requirements can change, so current official guidance should continue to be monitored.
